KELAPA SHIRT DRESSRatna - Mata Dewi
This dress is designed to give you those Bali feels and tropical vibes.
KELAPA means coconut in Indonesian, and Ive always found these trees to be true miracles of nature - pulling water and energy high up into the sky to create such nutritious sweetness only to drop it back down again onto the ground. I remember my 8th grade science teacher Mr Wallis telling me that coconut trees use soooo much energy to make a coconut, and that they really dont make much sense at all compared to how most things grow and work in nature. I never forgot it. Lol. So,Im sure coconut tress if given a gender would be female! Making no sense to anyone except their creator! And Coconut palm trees since that day have always fascinated me and been a little wonder of my universe. Every time I see one, I see inefficient mini miracles and I smile & send the tree so much love!
Those of you that know me know that I live in this shirt style dress in all the different patterns I design and produce. It's become a staple pattern for Warriors. It's such a comfortable dress to throw on for the beach, work, mum life. Everything.
Unbutton a few buttons and tie it at the front to make it sexier and cooler, and undo it and wear as a shirt kimono with a slip or a denim shirt and a singlet. Honestly, my most reached for dress in my wardrobe because it's sexy, effortless, & comfortable.
This material is produced traditionally using the ancient batik screen print method. It takes 2 screens with 2 colors to hand print this material. Made by humans, not machines. You may experience some minor inconsistencies, which should not be considered as flaws but only confirm it's hand-made process. This is part of our #slowfashion commitment to honor tradition and keep skilled artisans in jobs. It's riskier and more expensive to make the material this way, but the romantic in me insists this is how it must be produced. Human and imperfect, the material carries the energy of all who have helped make it and that romance I believe transcends to the wearer.
Composition: 100% Viscose, hand-painted with love.
For best results, hand washing is advised. If hand washing, use only minimal amounts of detergent and do not soak for longer than one hour. After rinsing in fresh water, dry the item flat in a shaded area away from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Steaming is the preferred method for cleaning, otherwise, iron inside out on the appropriate setting for the material, using a handkerchief between the material and the iron to avoid scold marks. Lightly spray with water prior to ironing for best results.

LOVE my Kelapa shirt dress and the fabric is very soft and comfortable to wear.
This dress is very pretty, very feminine, I think it can feet every one. Don’t hesitate!!!
I love this dress. When I'm in the house, I wear it by itself, but when I go out, I wear it with a "chunky" belt. It looks amazing, and I feel great! :)
The fabric is stunning, and I can feel the high vibrational energy when I wear it.
It’s such a beautiful garment. Very happy with this purchase and the delivery was quicker than expected
