I feel a deep connection to the energy of the snake through SHIVA, GODDESS ISIS and via my practice of Kundalini Yoga that transformed my life. It wasn't until I felt the ida and pingala serpent energy rise inside of me ten years ago that I started to awaken to the true existence of life - and how divine and connected to the universe we truly are.
The snake is the main feature of this kimono and represent for me the continual shedding of skins and commitment to the ongoing journey of transformation towards the light - MOKSA.
This Kimono comes in two gorgeous colors; Light Gold & Hazey Lavender. the design style is intentionally BOHO and features gorgeous hand-made tasseling below the sleeves and at the base of the kimono to complete the vibe. Throw it over bathers a bikini or your yoga wear, combine with a slip dress or wear with some denim and a singlet. Add a head scarf and some sunglasses if the bohemian in you really wants to shine!
The screen print for the kimono was designed in collaboration with Hayley Wenn from Yinside Yoga. Hayley and I both resonate on doing our best to make everything we create as sustainable as possible and so with this product we have worked with eco produced organic viscose & placement we are proud to produce this item as a zero waste product. We also have purpose built wells so the the eco dyes we use are caught across stone catchments and do not enter the water tables and river systems.
The material for this is produced by humans, not machines and is screened by hand. Any inconsistencies should not be considered as flaws, but as an integral part of the garment that confirm its beautiful hand made process. As colors are individually mixed each time and the way images appear on various screens differ, please allow that actual colors on receiving your item may vary by 10 -20%.

Care instructions:
For best results, we recommend you hand wash or dry clean your item. If you hand wash, use a minimal amount of detergent and do not soak longer than 15 minutes. Rinse in fresh water before drying flat in shade. Iron inside out. For best results lightly spray with water prior to ironing. Direct sunlight will fade your item. Avoid rubbing this material. It will cause material to pill (form tiny balls).
Steaming your clothing is also possible. Otherwise, Iron inside out. Ensure your iron is set to appropriate setting for the material. Use a handkerchief in between the material and iron to avoid any scolds from the iron. For best results lightly spray with water prior to ironing.
If this item is available for pre-order, you can generally expect your order to be crafted and delivered within a timeframe of 2 to 14 weeks from the date of your order. In some cases, it may even arrive sooner if possible. To clarify, when an item is available for pre-order, it means that we have either already placed the order and it's currently in process or it will be ordered on the next available order date, which is the 1st of each month. Typically, it takes 4-7 weeks from the order date for the items to be completed. If you'd like a more specific estimate for your particular kimono, please feel free to email us.
